In working with me you will find someone who is passionate about methods that transform lives through interaction with the brain and nervous system. Between 1996 and 2002 I studied two of these methods, Network Chiropractic (NSA) and Self Regulation Therapy (SRT). Knowledge of these approaches gave me a deep understanding of how our neurology helps create our reality. Or in other words, 'Whatever is happening on the inside is creating our experience on the outside.' With your willingness, the application of SRT and the principles of NSA, I can assist you in reorganizing your internal world so that your life transforms. As a result you can feel better; replace survival strategies with pathways to joy and abundance; experience the satisfaction of supportive relationships; put that bothersome memory in the past once and for all; and really get to choose how your life goes.

Since 1995, I've specialized in a low-force type of chiropractic called Network Spinal Analysis. From there I went on to do post-graduate work in clinical neurology, and then on to study Self Regulation Therapy (SRT). Learning SRT was very satisfying not only because the results are remarkable, but because of the solid psychophysiological framework for understanding and working with trauma. It's truly an honor helping people renegotiate trauma and observing how a person's life changes as a result. I'm passionate about helping people live the life they were created to live. I work with people who have been exposed to shock trauma (car accidents, falls, surgeries, inescapable attack, medical procedures), developmental trauma, as well as recent trauma. I'm interested in working with people who struggle with: anxiety, depression, relational issues, musculoskeletal pain, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, attachment issues, and people who want to move from survival, to living a thriving, joyful, abundant life.

As a trauma therapist I am trained in several methods of therapy. The one that I find provides the most sustainable results is Self Regulation Therapy (SRT).
In more than 15 years of private practice my clients have presented a variety of issues including but not exclusive to: depression, suicidal ideations, relationship issues, grieving the loss of a loved one, motor vehicle accidents and all forms of abuse including sexual, physical, verbal, and emotional.
I believe in a holistic approach which incorporates all aspects of the client; emotional, cognitive, physical and spiritual. Each session is client led and tailored to what you as the client brings to the session.
You deserve to be happy, joyous and free from the trauma that is interfering with your quality of life…the path to that goal begins when you make the call to start your healing process.

I am a Registered Social Worker (MSW). I have specialized in the treatment and prevention of disordered eating for over fifteen years. I work with adults, youth and couples around issues of trauma, anxiety, depression, anger, bereavement, job stress, personal growth, disordered eating, transition and career counselling. I incorporate Self Regulation Therapy (SRT) in the work I do with people because I find that the desired change occurs more quickly and gently. My clients have told me that they notice the changes happen from the inside and when they leave a session they feel refreshed. Family and friends frequently report the changes they notice in the person obtaining counselling after the person has obtained a few sessions. For example, the person is not as angry or they are more able to concentrate and make decisions. I work collaboratively with my clients from a strength based perspective to assist them in reaching the goals they have named for themselves.

MA. My experience as an Alexander Technique and Voice teacher has shown me that issues with physical pain or inability to make a free sound are more complex than the body. SRT has shown me that "physical inabilities" are the result of a full container due to trauma, shock or developmental dysregulation. Combining SRT with the work I already do helps my students renegotiate trauma, emptying the container, so that they can sing and move without pain. Now that's something to sing about.

I came to Self Regulation Therapy as an Alexander Technique teacher; now, in addition to practicing straight SRT, I integrate SRT methodology into my hands-on Alexander work. I was drawn to these two modalities because they're fully integrative and highly effective, as well as engaging and rewarding for both the practitioner and the client. Each has made a tremendous difference in my own life, and I'm inspired by the opportunity to share their benefits with others.
